Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the lake (Colombia/Sumatra blend)
I noticed today that the inside of my truck smells like the lake! That's not completely bad..... but it's not completely good either. A week ago last night, I was moving things out of the laundry area of the Rainbow Haven Resort onto a trailer to get them away from the flood water that was creeping into the building. My truck was the main "Service Vehicle" moving everything (including the boat trailers) around in 12-16 inches of water in the parking lot up to higher ground. The water never got high enough to get into the truck. But I got in and out of it 20-30 times in total. The lake was draining off me and onto the floor of my truck. SO, I'm sure that about a half gallon of Lake Taneycomo took up residence in my truck. It's dry now, but the aroma of lake is still present. I suppose I'll have to work on that at some point!
On a lighter note...… (Get It??? I crack myself up!) I decided that my lighted fishing bobber string on the pole above my desk needed to display a good "Catch". So as of now, it is connected to a string of 10 Bass. (Lighted Bass)
Hard to beat that!

The Last Resort Project: I had to go spend the day getting our propane dispensing certifications up to date so once again, the Last Resort took a back seat to the "urgent".
