Day 129 - 236 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost up the Creek (Colombian)
Really late in the day yesterday, I had an Adventure continuation that happened after I had published the post for the day. One of the Pontoon boats had been acting a little gnarly so I went down to work on it a little. When it was ready to test drive, I called Joe at Mid-River to see if he would be available to rescue me if I had problems on the water. He said he'd be there if I needed him so I headed for open water. The next thing I saw was Joe storming out of his dock aboard a pontoon of his own and heading up the lake towards me. I thought it was odd but hey...…. Well it turned out that all he wanted to do was to chase me around and race.
We are adults......mostly...… but to look at us from shore you would have thought it was nothing more than teenagers with too much energy and nothing better to do. We did figure 8's, donuts, raced (as fast as a pontoon can go) up and down the lake for 15-20 minutes until I was satisfied that my boat was working correctly. I'm sure Joe was satisfied that his boat was faster. (In all fairness, he had a 60 horse motor, mine was 40) All part of a days work - For both of us...…. I guess!

The Last Resort Project: I actually did get to spend some time working on cabin 6 this morning. Enough to get the porch roof framed in. We had boats going out all afternoon and guests to check in so I had to cut the day short, but still saw some progress.
