Day 1267- 238 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Woods (Colombia/Costa Rica blend)
There are things about the "Resort Adventure" that exist because it's the Resort. And then there are the things that are part of the adventure simply because they happen at the resort but could really happen anywhere. One of those things is the excitement our grandson gets out of the Bobber Party Lights I have hanging over my desk in the tackle shop! In fact, I don't think there is anything in the entire rest of the house that he likes any better than those lights. So, at least once or twice each day he's here, we have to get into the tackle shop so he can get ahold of those lights and shake them.
No, you don't need a resort to have that kind of fun, BUT...… to him, as he grows up, all of those resort things will be embedded in his earliest memories as the coolest place on the planet to grow up.
That's what makes it a "Resort Adventure"! both for Grandson and Grandpa!

The Last Resort Project: Believe it or not, I did get some "Last Resort" work done today. In between showing Rainbow Haven once, Cross Timbers twice and the Last Resort 5 times. It was a busy day! The amount of time spent on actually working there was only a couple hours but in that time I got the cabinets moved into the kitchen and the roof mostly framed up over the front entry on cabin 6.
