Day 159 - 206 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Dark (Colombian Dark French Roast)
So I woke up to the sound of an alarm clock this morning and it was still dark outside. Maybe it was a mistake, but no, Shelley's alarm was going off and she was getting out of bed. Naturally, I assumed that since today was the wedding day, she was getting up to help get the process started somehow. But No! What was she up to????? When I asked, the answer was "I'm going spear fishing!
I maybe should have named my blog "The Adventures with Shelley". Yes, Spear Fishing..... That sort of thing should never surprise me. In the middle of preparing for our daughter's wedding, spear fishing! Of course our daughter (the one getting married today) is the one guiding the spear fishing expedition! That shouldn't surprise me either. The wedding may smell a little fishy...…. That wouldn't surprise me either! I have no doubt, the groom is on board as well! And THAT wouldn't surprise me!
I suppose, in certain circles, spear fishing could be an appropriate prelude to a wedding...…. I suppose!

A few hours later, but only a few hundred yards away, the bride and groom were dressed for business and the wedding went off according to schedule. Our Florida Adventure was initiated for this purpose and everything else was just extra fun! We are still enjoying the trip and will continue for a couple more days.
The Last Resort Project: It's a thousand miles away and mostly out of mind for at least a few more days.
