Day 160 - 205 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Fog (Guatemala Decaf)
Sunday at the Beach in Deerfield Florida and Week 23 is in the books back home. While I've done almost nothing today, others of the group have been running on the beach, fishing the intercoastal waterway, fishing again out on the ocean and exploring new restaurants. We also discovered that some of us (actually only one of us) is terrified of the lizards running around here. Now there are some big lizards, and then some really big lizards...……. But these guys are not of the big variety and they mostly just love to run out and startle you. Mostly they run away, but I guess if you don't see them before they make their run for cover, it may seem like a ninja lizard strike.
We also discovered (and thank goodness it wasn't me) but my son who simulated a lizard ninja attack on his wife. I didn't witness the actual attack, but was in close proximity to it as it unfolded rather quickly. The chaos that ensued was spectacular and entertaining. there is a large sofa on the balcony and it could very well be that he'll be spending the night there. We'll see how that turns out!
Mandy has left for home, so has my sister and her family. I... will be spending the evening with my little buddy until all the rest of the family returns for the night! It's a pretty good exchange. I like to eat, I like to fish, but I like my little buddy a LOT! So tonight it's guys night at the condo!
