Day 200 - 165 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Woods (Colombia/Costa Rica blend)
The battle to get boats into the lake continues today. Even though the water level is desperately low, we are managing to get them out to deeper water. The level of the lake itself isn't as big of an issue as the level of the lake around the docks. Once out you make it out of the little harbor, there's plenty of water depth. It's the 150 feet from the dock to the main channel that is the problem. But...… The Battle goes on!

The Last Resort Project:
Brad and Jared have begun cleaning in earnest around The Last Resort. One of the cabins had become a "Community Storage Shed" for everyone who lived there for the past couple years. They took on that as a challenge along with more general yard clean up. The place is beginning to look civilized again.
We also had potential buyers looking the place over today. They could see that it was certainly a project but I think they saw the potential as well. The funny thing is that every time I go to do something at the property, the creative and vision side of me kicks in and I am tempted to drop everything else and get busy on it. The trouble is, with all the other resort properties, that really isn't realistic for me.
It will end up suiting someone's dream and vision eventually!
And it will be an Adventure again!
