Day 216 - 149 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Highlander Grogg (Butterscotch/Rum flavor)
Here we are in August and the Resort Adventure continues through the waning weeks of the Summer. As with all adventures, it's only good if it is new, expanding, growing or changing in some way. After all, if it becomes routine, can it really be considered an "Adventure"? This truth applies our personal "Adventure" at the Resorts. What began as a family "get away" project in 2011 has ultimately turned in to a fascinating and fulfilling business adventure for us over the past eight and a half years. It includes, cabins, campsites, treehouses, boats and marina, bait and tackle store and all of the extra campfire, camping and cabin stuff that goes with it.
BUT...……..
It's fixing to change!
Stay tuned for the updates!
Meanwhile, I had some fun with a family taking one of our pontoon boats out today from our Marina. While getting them ready, one of the girls spotted some fish close to the dock. In an effort to catch one, she ran back to the boat, grabbed her dad's dip net and threw it at the fish, presumably to catch it. Evidently she didn't think of what to do after throwing the net in the lake. Dad had to retrieve it with a garden rake! "See".... She said "No Harm Done!" ……. What can you do other than laugh!

“Man needs air, man needs water, man needs food and man needs adventure also! Adventure is a medicine for the infinite boredom.”
