Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost up the Creek (Colombia)
We had the entire day reserved for digging in new water mains at the Last Resort. After turning the water on to cabins 1 and 2, we discovered there was a slow leak in the main line that we were unable to locate. Almost certainly it was under ground and more than likely, under concrete. My experience with this is that if it can't be found and fixed in a matter of an hour or two, it's easier and almost as cheap to replace the entire main coming in. Which is what we decided.
By the end of the day, there were new water mains running from the street into a couple of the cabins.
