Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Woods (Colombia/Costa Rica blend)
It's hard to put a price tag on the serenity of an early morning at the lake. Other than the occasional tackle shop customer and a couple of boat rentals, this time of year is relaxing. I spend as much of the morning part of it as I can drinking coffee and looking at the lake. Good friends Scott and Diane were "In Camp" this weekend visiting family. It's always good to see them and get caught up on the news from back home in Boone IA. PLUS, they brought some Dutch Oven Bakery, "Dutch Letters" and some Reinhardt Sweet Corn. A little taste of Iowa GOLD!
The Last Resort Project: I told they guys to get ready because this week I would be setting aside a day or two to be up there helping. They had a strange response. They said "Bring it On!" as if they didn't believe it!
