Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Trail (Guatemala)
Today, a friend reminded me of a photo he had taken here last Summer and I couldn't resist adding a caption to it. Don took this picture from our Rainbow Haven Resort. If I'm not mistaken, it was right from the deck of his favorite room, Number 12! Don and his family have been coming here for about two and a half decades. Personally, I couldn't resist doing something with the picture and it gave me the perfect opportunity to voice one of my passions in life. That is to spend it in a way that feels like vacation all year long.
Of course life isn't a vacation all year long, but at the Resorts...… It kind of feels like it. There is always some kind of work that needs done but around a resort and a resort atmosphere, it's pretty tolerable. It doesn't matter if its a frustrating repair of some kind or something we can get creative with, it's all still a little like a vacation all the time!
