Day 293 - 72 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Highlander Grogg
This week is the culmination of a busy Summer, followed by a busy Fall, followed by the annual Fall get-away tradition on a cruise to somewhere. Part of the "Adventure" of the cruise is trying to navigate our way into the port of New Orleans which to me is one of the most aggravating five minutes to half hour experiences I have. You wouldn't think that the last two miles would be such a problem but me ending up in the French Quarter is MUCH more common that you think it would be. This time, everything went perfect, no missed turns, no long lines, no traffic. We were on board almost as quickly as it took to walk through the terminal.
On board we made our way to the food, ate more than we should, relaxed, played a little mini golf, ate again and sat poolside for a movie.
