Day 315 - 50 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Woods (Colombia/Costa Rica blend)
Even though Winter is well over a month away (officially) we certainly got a taste of it today. Maybe the term should be, we got a "Slap in the Face" by it today. I don't know if we set records or not, but it was COLD! Even though there is technically some snow out there, it really didn't amount to anything. Just enough to make the road crews around here nervous.
Other than making sure the heat was turned on everywhere that it needed to be, I tried my best to stay inside. Partly because of the cold but mostly because I still have so much work to catch up on in the office.
I'm beginning to get into the mindset of a seasonal transition. The outdoors stuff is just mostly going to have to wait until Spring and I'm actually kind of looking forward to our upcoming renovations to some of the Rainbow Haven cabins. With one less resort to babysit this winter and one less house (our Ozark house) I think I can enjoy this winter a little better than past ones!
