Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Trail (Guatemala)
Today is day two of the Cabin 75 renovations at Branson Treehouse Adventures. The six cabins we are modifying are beautiful the way they are, They just aren't all that accommodating with a large sleeping loft rather than individual bedrooms. We are dividing the big upstairs space into two private bedrooms and making provision for the addition of a third bedroom and second bathroom at some point in the future.
In the process of all the modifications, we are also increasing the dining space and adding a variety of new lighting features. The boys seem to be enjoying the project. It's one where the work is not too difficult and you get to see the results pretty quickly.
Once we get the interior done (and the weather cooperates) we will be replacing the roof and doing some exterior improvements. These cabins are very popular all Spring, Summer and Fall. I believe the upgrades will make them even more attractive.
