Day 347 - 18 Days to go
79 Days Until March 1
79 Days Until March 1
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Lake (Colombia/Sumatra blend)
I just realized that a couple days ago was the one year Anniversary of "The Resort Adventures" postings that I've been doing. The whole purpose of them was to create a simple journal of the things we do from day to day around the different properties. I've noticed a couple of things since doing this. First of all is that even though it feels like every day is an exciting adventure, when it comes right down to it, it's a lot the same thing over and over. That's certainly not bad, because it is fun, exciting, challenging and a good way to live life! The other thing I've come to appreciate is that even though it can be complex and sometimes even frustrating, I am grateful for the opportunity to do the things I love day after day. To add one other element to this, (and probably the most important one) is the opportunity we have to allow our grandkids (one now and one due within another month or so) the chance to grow up in the "COOLEST" environment for little kids that there can possibly be!
I'm thinking that my "Resort Adventure" is really just my opportunity to make sure our grandkids grow up with a "Resort Adventure"!
