Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Trail (Guatemala)
The last couple days, we've been at it back at the Rainbow Haven Resort. One of the biggest struggles we've had here is to figure out what kind of identity or image we want to express on the property. We've changed our minds two or three times so far. However, I think we've finally went past the point of no return and will be committed to the current plan and it's going to start showing pretty quickly.
The trouble with projects like this is that it suffers from the "one thing leads to another" syndrome. I've had to remind my crew (and myself) that once you start, it may never end if you're not careful. For the past guests who would recognize this, it's unit number 12. It's a little hard to tell from the picture but trust me, at this moment, it's probably at it's worst. It's only getting better from this point.
