Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Lake (Colombia/Sumatra blend)
Brad and Dave showed up early this morning to start work on the dock once again. We ended up drinking coffee and eating a fresh pan of biscuits though until the bite left the air. The forecast said 60's but it didn't start that way. I laugh at them sometimes. They do an awful lot of odds and ends work for us around the Resorts. They have come to enjoy (I Think) a little bit of the Resort Adventure for themselves. Both of them live in a couple of the cabins at "The Last Resort". They also work for us at the Rainbow Haven Resort when there are things to do there (which is almost always) They will be heading off to the Treehouses starting next week to help me with some cabins renovations over there.
Part of the "Adventure", as I refer to it, is simply living the life being surrounded by lakes, boats cabins, treehouses and the fun things that go along with that. Another part of it and perhaps more important, to me anyway, is the abundant opportunities to express creativity in what we do EVERY DAY! I cannot put a price on that aspect of life!
