Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Woods (Colombia/Costa Rica)
Today is affectionately referred to as Black Friday by a good portion of Americans. Actually, If I were to engage in the tradition myself (which I don't) I probably couldn't think of a better name for it. I was perfectly content to restrict my activities to coffee by the fire, a little college football on the TV and a bit of Thanksgiving Day left overs for lunch. I suppose it's not embracing the festive spirit of the up-coming holiday season. But I'm okay with embracing the quiet, peaceful spirit of the upcoming holiday season. Someone has to represent the "anti-chaos" part of the season. I'll be that person.
The Last Resort Project: Everyone around here is off the reservation, so to speak, visiting family and friends for Thanksgiving. We will plan to resume the project once the turkey and ham wears off.
