Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Trail (Guatemala)
We have been hosting friends from North Dakota for the last several days at the Resort. We've known them for right at 50 years and they are preparing to move into our area and work with us at the treehouses. Their trip here this time was to mostly spend time with family members in the area but also to continue the process of moving their home from there to here. As they watched winter storm Ezekiel "as the Weather Channel calls it", the trip home for them is looking quite bleak. SO..... since that is still a day away, we all decided to just forget about it today and head over to the Cinnamon Roll shop this morning and indulge ourselves. The biggest problem is that the cinnamon roll shop is only about two minutes away from the treehouses! I could see that being a problem!
And...SORRY.... we were much too busy eating to remember to get an actual picture of us (Good cinnamon rolls will do that to you) But yes, this is a picture of their rolls, and not just a canned google picture. I suppose that means I will have to return soon to get my own picture to display. YEAH...…… that's what we meant to do! I knew there must be a reason!
