A new "Resort Adventure" year has begun and we are only a couple days away from the start of the next chapter of our journey. I've learned the hard way that until there's ink on the paper, anything can happen. For this reason, we have not been too open about the identity of the next resort property or much of the details. I am, however, looking forward to our new living quarters. In this case we will have an actual, real life fire place and that will be a welcome addition for us. 

2020 has gone into the record books for most people as one of the most difficult years in their lives. I have to admit that back in March and April, I was feeling it could go that way for us as well. In reality, we had one of the busiest years we've ever had which was topped off by the sale of our last two small resorts in Rockaway Beach. These sales paved the way for our next step, which was mostly driven by the need to ramp up the size of our business. Our closing is scheduled for this coming Monday and I'm feeling pretty confident it will go through okay. I plan to begin providing daily updates leading up to our "Day 1".
