Even though cold can be an adventure, I'm not so sure I'm ready to call it that this week. It happens every few years here in SW Missouri. Temps will get down to zero or below. I think it's going to happen tonight and if not tonight, then tomorrow. It's always a shock and keeps us awake at night wondering what it's doing to our water lines. Here at the Marina Inn, most everything is winterized but even then, I wonder how well it will hold up. The good news is that 50's are in the forecast for next week and March will be just around the corner after that. 

For now, I'm content to keep adding wood to the fire. Soak up the heat it's producing and catch up a little on indoor things.
