Yeah, I'm not going out there!.... Actually, I've already been out there! I've decided there are snows to look at and there are snows to look at but for a different reason. The snow you look at is the snow that is pretty! Snow that is picturesque and soft. Snow that is beautiful when draped over evergreen trees. I still don't much care to go out in it, but at least it's nice to look at. Then there's that other snow that you look at with indignation, displeasure and annoyance. It's the kind of snow that dares you to come outside, and if you do, it threatens to bite your face off before you have a chance to run back to the house. You look at it because you don't dare tempt it by getting anywhere near it!

It's that second category of snow that has made it's unwelcome presence here in the Ozarks. It get's it's unruly reputation by bringing it's thug cousin, "Sub-Zero Temperatures" with it. Unfortunately, it's taunting dragged me out of bed early today to combat it's wrath. This is simply the 2021 version of what I identified years ago as my ongoing battle with the snow and cold. Meanwhile, I'm trying to think up some good, insulting, derogatory insults to throw out into the parking lot. Maybe it will help, but if it doesn't, I'll at least feel better about it! But trust me, if I do go out and it makes any hostile moves towards me, I'll be back by the fireplace before it can drag me out and pummel me!
