You would think that it being February 2nd, I would have some extended commentary on Groundhog Day. Here it is, Winter is over! That's my stand on it every year. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. That's it. That's all I have to say about that! On to more important things. 

I watched a fascinating video last night related to gaining freedom through "Building a Self-Sufficient Life" (click the title to see it) It's about an hour and a half podcast video of a couple of family's perspective on the state of society and culture. It also includes what they are doing to begin building some separation from the bad parts of it and becoming less vulnerable to over-reach of the government, social influences and world conditions that are in conflict with their family values. It's worth watching.
