Yesterday I mentioned a video I recently watched related to becoming self-sufficient. It's a personal journey we've been on for about three years now. As part of that, we've integrated principles from our investing life into our self-sufficient pursuit in effective ways. One thing that stops many in their tracks is the fear of the unknown when it comes to what the income picture will look like. The key is to figure out the balance between what the necessary income needs will be vs what they may actually be. Normally, there's a gap. The answer is to take steps to insure for some stable or mostly stable income sources. Since most people rely on a job with a paycheck for their income, few have developed any additional sources if income. Much less passive or multiple sources. This is where we have focused our energy for the past twenty years or so. It's energy that has paid off in a steady source of income that helps sustain our "Back to the Land" journey. 

We have just begun a video series related to building those streams of income for yourself. It's not a subject that is understood in its application without a shift of mindset that is needed. An understanding of working and wages is not enough to step into the world of multiple sources of passive income. This is the goal of our current YouTube series.
