Day 941 of the Adventure

The garden really has been dominating our time since late February. Trying to get everything done there has been a huge "to-do" list. Much of it is finally complete. There remains a corner her and another one over there that are still unfinished. As I've been working on the greenhouse landing area, Shelley has been hard at work on the opposite corner of the space. She hauled in several loads of bigger rocks to define a terraced planting space. I've been campaigning for cantaloupes. I think I may have actually won the debate too. Maybe because of my persuasive nature or it may be because we already have cantaloupes growing in a small tub that will need transplanting very soon. Either way, it's a win for me. Shelley can be very determined when it comes to a work project. I told her not to worry about making it pretty, just make it functional. THAT, did not go over very well. I have no doubt that within days, it will look as nice as the flower bed she's already created.
