On May 3rd, 2022, we were down to 26 days away from when we needed our cabin livable to the point where we could move onto the property. We had literally poured our first section of cement on the building site that would make up the front entry, laundry and water heater area. We had 3 weeks and 5 days left to get something constructed. We were fighting against rain storms about every other day and MUD everyday. Shelley learned how to trowel out cement when we finished the floor in the utility control building. She put those skills to use here on the initial cabin pour. The video I've included here shows the work we did that day.
