Another Adventure on the Horizon? Perhaps? - March 29

Day 1,275 of the Adventure


Even though we are in the middle of (or actually just the beginning of...) our house building project at the Campfire Trail, we are still dreaming of another "brainstorm" project. The picture you see here is a real place. One we actually toured that is for sale. It's another slice of "Ozarks Heaven" and has a very remote, jungle-y" feel to it. Live water, caves, mountain tops and spring-fed streams are among its attractive features. The property is more than ten times the size of the Campfire Trail property and has interesting possibilities we do not currently have available to us. It would also allow for the possibility of conducting a "Backwoods Skills and Training" venue. A place where we could invite guests in to learn primitive woodsman skills, homesteading skills and off-grid living among other things. It's another dream we've had over the years. I guess we just need to figure out if there's enough years left in our tank to do something like this.
