Looking Forward (Part 2) - May 19

Day 1,326 of the Adventure


Yesterday, I began unpacking our plans for a fairly big idea once we get back home. I cracked the lid on all of it yesterday and if You haven't read that part yet, you really should stop and go do that before you start here. (Here's a Link to it!) Promise me you've read part one before continuing. So, continuing on!

Our life experience, at least from an economic/financial view has been one of learning to overcome challenges. And..... In many ways, we've been pretty successful at it. I mentioned yesterday that our two main weapons in combating financial difficulties were learning self-sufficiency and entrepreneurialism. Learning how to be frugal with what we had and learning how to create things we didn't have. Those to mind-sets, or paradigms, have been the bedrock of our life experience. At this point in life, we are ready to step up to the plate in a bigger way when it comes to teaching and training others in developing these skills for themselves. What gives us the authority to do this? Nothing, other than fighting our way through all of it together for over 45 years now. We've learned to find ways of becoming more self-sufficient in our life choices. We've learned to build small businesses to create multiple sources of income streams that helped sustain our financial growth in ways few ever experience. The combination of the two principles have placed us in a unique position to pass on knowledge and skills that remain very elusive to the people that need them the most. 

With all that said, we are poised to begin transforming our little "homestead" place into a center of training and skill-building. We've planned for this from the beginning by making the purchase of it a business acquisition. It's taken until now to get it to the point where we can begin planning for the next stage. That moment has arrived.
