Day 1,402 of the Adventure
Yesterday, I began the day either complaining about the cool morning or being glad for it. I think I was glad for the coolness but not happy that it didn't feel right for early August. Nevertheless, I welcomed a nice cool morning after dealing with two weeks-worth of unbearable heat. I spent most of a week during the heat, re-working electrical power mains at the cabins and treehouses. That was exhausting. Ironically, yesterday I spent my day installing the new electrical mains from the solar plant building to the house site. It was all the same work only twenty five degrees cooler, which made all the difference. Yes, we now have underground cables connecting the electrical distribution hubs in our "Utility Shed" (that really is a "utility shed") Another step towards the hope of someday having a functioning house here in the backwoods!
