Day 434- 321 Days to go
16 Days until March 1
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost up the Creek (Colombian)
Today started with a trip to Ozark to gather up painting supplies from the house there. It is under contract now and we have another count-down to deal with. The one where everything has to be moved. This load was a no-brainer anyway because we need the painting supplies at "The Last Resort".
While out running around for supplies, Shelley took messages from people anxious to rent boats. By the time I got back to all of them we had taken reservations for four boats over the next couple of weeks. I guess the signs of Spring are starting to finally show up.

The Last Resort Project
Cabin 3 |
Today also marked the day that we got the outside of the cabins mostly cleaned up. Not that it was terribly bad, but a couple years of long term renters had taken their toll on the appearance. Among other things I did today was reattaching gutters and downspouts and fixed a couple roof leaks. Two moreof the cabins have almost gained their freedom from the "Common Grid" which is a big step forward towards their next life. I'll explain that later. As it gets cleaned up and as we get repairs made along with the renovation upgrades, I'm actually seeing some nice potential again. One day and one project at a time...…..
