Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Trail (Guatemala)
I started out the day anxious to take care of some bank business and some electrical utility business. Unfortunately, most all of that was CLOSED...…. Holidays, they come at the most inconvenient times. I had to settle for picking up supplies (carpet for some of the Last Resort) and also a new water heater for the project.
It didn't matter what we did, it felt cold today. Everything I started eventually wound down to retreating back to the house and a hot cup of coffee. Reservations were taken for Cross Timbers for this week. The Jacuzzi Tub Cabin never seems to slow down much and that is exactly what the call was for today. The decision to add the tub turned out to be a really good one. At the time, we really couldn't afford it, but decided that we needed to somehow get it done anyway. I suppose that fits one of my favorite "Entrepreneur Quotes"; "Jump of the Cliff and build a parachute on the way down". In some ways, that fits the "Resort Adventure" at least the way we've built it. But I'm not complaining. Some of that is what makes it exciting and exhilarating.

The Last Resort Project: Some of what slowed us down today was the engineering department at the utilities was closed, delaying an inspection. So we will patiently wait for another day.
