February 9 - Resort Adventures

February 9, 2019

Day 40 - 325 Days to go
20 Days until March 1

Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Dark (Colombian dark French roast)

It was 16 degrees out when I woke up this morning so I decided to start getting some inventory organized. (with a hot cup of coffee of course) Mostly it was shipments of T-shirts and Hoodies that had been accumulating. I was a little surprised to notice that the Hoodies were starting to get scarce. We've been selling them a little sporadically but it must be adding up. Several of the colors and sizes are getting to be limited.

When we opened the tackle shop and then added gifts and  souvenirs, I worried that we wouldn't be able to fill it up. As it stands now, it's so full I don't have room for it all. I guess I got a little carried away. Anyway, that's how the morning went.

I spent some time at the main house at the Black Bear Cabins. ( I probably need to come up with a new name for them) I think as a bare minimum, we will to an upgrade on the kitchen and do some painting and flooring. There's a lot of knotty pine cabin charm there that I don't want to lose so we need to be a little selective on how we treat it. I think I'll make progress pics a regular feature starting tomorrow. Maybe I'll call it "The Last Resort" project.
