Day 70 - 295 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Dark (Dark French Roast Colombian)
The Adventure today took us back to Ozark for another load of stuff. I'm not sure where we're going to put it all. BUT the good news is that my tools are all gravitating back to one common location. Guests were checking in and boats going out and people showing up at the tackle shop. Starting to feel back to normal around here. NOW for the catastrophe of the day. A resort owner is terrified of one thing above all others. It's not the "We caught the cabin on fire and it burnt down. Worse than that is "We can't get the TV remote to work". I don't have a sufficient number of teenagers on call to deal with that. Tonight it was not one, but two TV remotes not working. One was simply dead batteries. The other was a little more serious. It was missing entirely. After rounding up ALL remotes on property that were currently not in service, I found one that actually worked. Crisis Averted!
The BIG news is in the video. You can't see anything, But then again, you usually can't. But you can hear them. The tree frogs are beginning to emerge and chirp, or whistle, or....croak..... or whatever it is that they do. It's another awesome sign that Spring is here or at least very nearly here. Turn up the volume and you can hear them.
