Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Dark (Colombia Dark French Roast)

After a couple days of quiet around the resorts, the weekend is creeping up on us. The milder weather has everyone in the mood for fishing. This is the season for last minute reservations and today was no exception. With the final Summer Holiday of the year coming up next week, we are scrambling around making sure we are ready for it. This week in particular is hectic with the unexpected passing of Shelley's dad. We will be leaving for several days right in the middle of the lead up to Labor Day. 

The boys have been cleaning and finishing up a lot of loose ends around the cabins. They even found time to re-finish the floor in cabin 3 at Cross Timbers. No, not a "Last Resort" project but still interesting and it turned out beautiful.

Cross Timbers Cabins will soon have a new owner and we are completing a couple of projects there that I wanted to have done. Cabin 3 is the one with the jetted tub and it gets the most use of any of the cabins there, especially in the fall and winter. So a new finish on the floor will keep the cabin nice for years to come.
