Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Caramel Apple (Seasonal flavor)
I can see where the Resort Adventure is heading tomorrow. The strong wind that we've been experiencing for that last couple days has taken it's toll on a couple bolts on the dock walkway. I woke to look out the window and see the ramp sitting at a "Wonky" angle that obviously didn't look right. Upon further inspection, I think there is actually only one broken bolt, but it's lead to a variety of other things being out of place. I'm sure before we get done with it I will have employed the use of at least one and maybe two boats to push it back in place. My truck will get in on the action to hold it there with straps from the road while repairs are made. I'll have Brad and Dave on hand to climb into the water if necessary (JUST KIDDING) Brad was worried about needing to get into the water! No doubt there will be pushing and shoving and prying and possibly even colorful language. (JUST KIDDING) But while we're at it, I think we'll probably fix a few other broken things on the dock as well bringing it back to a much more stable and functional piece of the Resort Adventure arsenal.
