Day 1,348 of the Adventure


I'm certainly not one that's prone towards violence at any level. That being said, these skunks this year are pushing me to the brink! Another one disrupted our sleep last night and left me, once again, to deal with it in the dark, early morning hours. Including, removing a skunk from a trap... in the dark. trying to bag him in a plastic trash bag.... in the dark. temporarily burying him in the dirt..... in the dark and finally, trying to sanitize, sterilize and de-skunk-ify the bird feeders..... in the dark. All of which was only moderately successful. I could smell skunk in my sleep and in my dreams. So much for the concept of "sweet dreams". Today, I'm taking a different, more direct approach!
