Day 1,344 of the Adventure


Today was one more episode of rain and wait. Our cement block progress has been good over the past few days but once again at a standstill for the moment. Shelley went and did a little more exploring around the property today. You wouldn't think there would be much left to discover after almost four years on only twelve acres. She's becoming more enthusiastic about mushroom foraging and with the rain, they are everywhere. During her mushroom hunt, she ran across a wild rose bush that neither of us had ever seen before. It was close enough to the road, we should have spotted it before now, but no. So today I present you with a photo of the Campfire Trail rose bush.
