Day 173 - 192 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost in the Dark (Colombian Dark French Roast)
If this week was anything in the way of adventure, it was an adventure in repairs. When things fail, it can't seem to be just one or two. This week it was a refrigerator, a dryer, a jet pump on a hot tub, a shower faucet a broken key in a boat ignition and cable TV digital receiver. There's always a list of things on the "fix list", but this week it seemed all of them were things that would need repaired immediately before making it on to the fix list. Fortunately, none of it was terribly complicated, just a little expensive and time consuming. By the end of today, most of it was taken care of and I think we'll have the rest done by Monday. Since most repairs are not that interesting, here's a picture of a recent sunrise from the Resort.
On a lighter note. It was a beautiful and warm day today and I'm not sure I've seen this much activity on the lake for a long time, maybe ever. There were even a number of jet ski's chasing around out there which almost never happens because of the colder water temps. At one point I had a boat fueling up at the dock and three waiting their turn. That's never happened either.

The Last Resort Project:
I am pleased to report that the boys were in the cabins yesterday and began moving appliances around to appropriate and needed spaces. They can't wait to start working on one of the new decks, so I suppose that will be high on the priority list.
