Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Lake (Colombia/Sumatra blend)
Last night I ended up being on "Flood Watch" again. With the lake being relatively high this Fall, a steady rain from yesterday, continuing into most of the night caused concern. I checked it about once per hour to see what it was up to and by sunrise it had pretty much given us all it was going to. It did leave the banks a little. Got into the parking lot and was creeping across the road before it finally gave up. It's not a common occurrence down here, but after a few episodes, it tends to keep me up at nights when it begins to threaten again.
After being awake off and on al night, I slept in, so the renovations on unit number 12 at Rainbow Haven just didn't start until 10 or 11 am. We did get a little work done there but not much. Shelley on the other hand, got a mostly sunny and mild day to finish up a bunch of Christmas lights around the pool.
