Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Lost on the Lake (Colombia/Sumatra)
I LOVE days like this. It reminds me of all of the times I've left the dock at sunrise to do some fishing. Not everyone comes to the lake to get up early in the morning to go fishing. My early resort days as a kid revolved more around playing and swimming in the lake. Fishing eventually replaced that and a morning like this was something we waited all year for.
I can almost smell the aroma of hot coffee poured from an old green, beat up Stanley Thermos as the boat heads out onto the lake.
