Day 988 of the Adventure
While wandering the garden this morning, I ran across this dragonfly. I thought I had heard they were good for a garden and had to look it up back at the cabin. Sure enough, I found that dragonflies are voracious predators and feed on various other insects, such as mosquitoes, flies and other insects. They help to control their populations and prevent them from becoming pests. This particular one was interesting in that about half of it's wings were transparent. Maybe they're all that way, I've never actually paid that close of attention before. So, here there be dragons, and welcome ones at that!
