A good portion of my day is spent enabling other people's passion for the outdoors. To be honest. I can't think of a better way to make a living. Every week, someone, either old or young, stops into the tackle shop wanting to know how to catch fish that has never done it before. This is mixed with the seasoned fishermen (and fisher-girls) that know what their doing but just want to know the tip of the day, flavor or color of the day. In all cases, the enthusiasm for spending a day seducing a fish into taking what is being offered to them is a irresistible. It's a privilege to be a part of that equation in people's lives every single day.
