Day 137 - 229 Days to go
Base Camp Coffee of the Day: Ozark Mountain Turtle (Chocolate/Caramel/Pecan flavor)
Another weekend is upon us at the Resorts and like pretty much all of them so far this Spring, it's been crazy busy. Even though we are only one week from the first big Holiday of the year, people are still ready for the vacation season to begin. Kids are a big part of why I like the "Resort Adventure Life". So many of my BEST memories come from those exotic, far away places my family travelled to when I was little. Exotic places like Minnesota and Missouri. (and even once, to Wyoming) To a kid, EVERY experience in a cabin, or on a lake or in a boat is wildly exotic no matter how ordinary it may be to us adults. As adults with kids we really need to remember that! Kids eyes are filled with wonder and excitement. Their faces glow with anticipation of a thrilling experience. Those grand experiences will be carried with them for a lifetime if we give them a chance to embrace their own version of Adventure.
I'm nearly 60 years old now and still can relive my long ago memories in the faces and smiles of kids experiencing their own "Resort Adventures".
If you're an adult, you should try it sometime!
